and visited Craigellachie some years ago. For those unfamiliar with the area, they are located just across the Spey river from the main road where there is also a cooperage you can tour. Lovely fields surround the drive as you approach the main buildings from the road. They differ a bit in using Spanish Sherry casks in lieu of American whiskey casks. And prefer stainless tuns. Most like Strathisla use wood.I also enjoy Islay malts (toured Lagavulin and Laphroaig) and discovered Bruichladdich on the other side of the island which tastes more like a Speyside like Glenfarclas.
