I took a second better look at those speakers. What made me lean to the cell foam side was that their finish texture and their color uniformity are not convincing as being of natural stone (to my eye). Might it be "cultured" or "laboratory" grade stone? What does the fact that the bass modules are made of two sides bonded together in the vertical plane suggest about it? Why is the size match between the two halves so poor?

I'm just not sure what to think of them. Are they supposed to be telling us that their chosen construction decisions are ground breaking and the top solution?

And what, pray tell, is that little dropping behind the left side speaker. Is that an outboard XO or some indeterminate little audio dingleberry just trailing in its wake?
