yes, it's bundled with the O/S





It's called "AudioStation".
Remote controllable? No, not really -- at least AFAIK.
I run it locally on my network, but I can run it from the internet as well when we're, you know, far out.
It works and I can use a USB DAC for quasi-hifi when so inclined.
That's about all I can say about the s/w.

(as you can see from the screenshot, not much Cowboy Junkies on the NAS, even though I am a big fan. Lots more still resides on physical media and hasn't made the transition to more ephemeral media)
