Diffusion treatm.nts are m. preference, following the basic rules of thum.:
Allow at least for 1 foot of distance between diffusor and ear for every 1 inch of diffusor depth because diffusors need enough tim./space to diffuse. And because diffusors at least 5" deep are m.st effective, a room that is big enough for "first reflection point placem.nt" is a requirem.nt.
The nice thing about absorbers is, they don't give a shit. They will do their job consistently no m.tter what.
