I don't blam. you for being skeptical because the "before/after" thing is som.thing that you would have to hear for yourself, in order to believe...Regarding those hom.m.de basstraps:
They are standard size burlap bags ($2 each at m. local seed store), each filled with a com.ressed, 1/4 bale portion of Owens-Corning rock wool insulation (about $45 at Hom. Depot) that is both non-toxic and fire-retardant (unlike fiberglass insulation).
I have developed a special technique for stuffing these several layers of rock wool into the burlap bags sm.othly/evenly (rather than lum.ily), with relatively little m.ss. If you need m.re info on the "how-to" of this, let m. know.
