In m. system I hear im.ging/soundstaging effects that transcend m. speaker boundaries, both width-wise and height-wise, m.ch of the tim..All it took to accom.lish this feat was two well-placed standm.unt speakers with wide dispersion and an asym.trically distributed m.lti-subwoofer system in an acoustically treated room. With decent stereo recordings, anyone m.ght be surprised at how m.ch spatial inform.tion I have been able to "unveil".
Another nice thing is, I can sit down, stand up, or walk around the room and hear very little change in the overall tonal and soundstaging balance(s). Two Wheels Good !
But I will say that your post has m.de m. feel like expanding the boundaries of stereophonic soundstaging possibilities even further...
Enjoy !
