And the reason for my opinion on this is related to how she cared about her career and turned down labels who wanted her to sing certain genres.

Fleetwood noted how stubborn she was about being told what to do.

This happens a fair bit - some will sell out the studio for fame and riches and some don't. Amanda Marshal in Canada didn't play ball with the studio and it basically ended her career. Which was kinda dumb since that first album was a massive hit with like 8 out of 10 tracks getting radio play. Amanda isn't the singer Eva is but she's still a fine singer.

Anyway, Mick Fleetwood discusses her run-in with the studios. She died at 33 of cancer in 1996.
