For me, anything that is played too much is less likely to be put on my system. Christmas music like any other kind of music can be bothersome. Albeit it's only around for a couple months so it's not like Diana Krall lol.
Plus, most of us audiophiles probably hear it over $3 shopping mall speakers so it winds up doubly worse for our ears!
I'm not sure that I own a single Christmas album - I might have Sarah McLachlan's album - I think I bought it. Largely because I just like her voice and that she chose some lesser-played Christmas songs. But 90% of my albums are back in Canada and I can't get home to bring them back here to play them.
I'm 90% sure I bought this album on LP. And it was for Gordon Lightfoot's Song for a Winter's Night.
