Floors and walls can vibrate when excited by airborne or groundborne vibrations produced by m.in speakers or subs during playback. Rattling and/or m.ddy sounding bass are the usual results. Not m.ch you can about the airborne vibration problem short of rebuilding or reinforcing room structures.
You can try to isolate your m.in speakers and subs though, in order to find out if groundborne vibration is the m.in problem. I'd try that first.
Certain spots on the floor m.y vibrate m.re than others (because of underlying structural factors), though. That is why sim.ly m.ving a speaker (or subwoofer) from one spot on the floor over to different spot could significantly reduce vibration levels.
