Not planning on downsizing equipment - if anything I'll maintain the level of quality (in my mind) of the gear I already have and possibly revive a second similar quality system.
I enjoy collecting and maintain a library of music almost as much as I enjoy listening to music. Been transitioning to more CDs but still bring in more vinyl. I put it all in a digital library. The kids are gone we've converted our 4 bedroom into a 3 bedroom with an exercise room. There's shit tons of room around here for record storage.
Our plan is and has been to stay in this home that we've lived in for the last 25+ years. It'll take a global/national economic calamity or major health crisis to get us out.
