is spend time over at the Digital PC forum where this topic has been discussed daily for years.Short answer: you need a streaming device with network access as a source to your preamp. That could be an existing phone, pad device, a computer of any sort or a wide range of dedicated players that can be acquired inexpensively to get you started.
All you might need to purchase is a simple cable to run from a headphone jack to your pre that can be purchased at Wal-Mart, Ace Hardware, etc for a couple of bucks.
edit: Just noticed this is your first post. I would recommend spending a bit of time browsing the various fora to get a feel for what topics are dicussed there.
