Finally getting around to setting up the Behringer 2496 and calibrated mic in order to run the Behringer's automated room correct DSP. Damn it's amazing what I am getting done since I kicked the old lady out! Stuff I have put off for a decade!
I will be running all music from my PC's optical output into the Behringer, then DSP corrected optical out of the Behringer into Schiit Modi3 optical input, then to the preamps and amps.
So I will be permanently limited to 24x96 for the PC based music system, which is OK with me. If there are any RPI hats with optical outputs I would give that a try next since I do feel the RPI streamer has subtly
better sound.
Anyone have experience using the Behringer's automated room correction?
