Canada has always been in the middle where we use both systems.

Baseball fans in Canada for example will say that their pitcher throws 100 mph not kph even though we use the latter for driving.

I personally prefer miles per gallon over liters per 100km.

I also prefer to use feet, inches, and lbs and I do not use cm for speaker woofers - it's a 6, 8, 10-inch woofers for me and always has been.

I use celsius however because it makes more sense than freezing would be 0c (a nice round number) than 32. To me, that was always kind of silly.

But I also like the idea of measuring in stone and using fortnight for two weeks.
