RE: Boxes full of CDs, DVDs, blu-ray, and vinyl. What to do?

You could try a senior center. Especially for the movies and CDs. Vinyl a - second hand record store will be happy to take them.

I have two stores within 2 blocks each selling 60,000+ vinyl records. They've come back in a fairly big way so - I would pull out any rare ones you have just in case.

A lot of things have been out of print for a long time so you never quite know what will be worth something. Second hand albums going for $50-$300 is not too uncommon so the rest of it can got to old age centers - but I'd be extra careful with the records.

Many Seniors still use the hard disc spinners. So do a lot of younger people judging by how many dedicated CD transports and CD players are still being sold.
