Amir seems to have a fetish for it. That one measure, more than anything else, dictates whether he gives a piece of audio electronics a thumbs up or thumbs down.
His speaker reviews aren't much better. He doesn't make pseudo-anechoic measurements, so his measurements don't correlate well with other sources and I don't really trust them.
He doesn't get into listening impressions much at all, not even bothering to listen to a lot of the gear he "reviews". But I'm not sure any of his fans care what stuff sounds like anyway.
