RE: Nothing Happened

There is another school of thought on this. I have no idea which is correct. The problem that some players address is jitter. MSB does it by regenerating the clock after the data is read and stored. Others, like Electrocompaniet utilize mechanical means to reduce it. If you search you can find the measurements of jitter with and without these mechanisms.

I wish I knew what Naim does. Some of their players sound absolutely unique.

The only experiment I have tried was placing some players on a sub woofer, when I turn it up, some players do better than others.
