The other day, I discovered my cd player was wobbly. So I thought, well
if I stabilize it, things will sound better. So I stabilized it and
it's now rock steady. I used little cardboard squares under one
foot. They didn't cost $49.95 each. I think they cost $0.00.
But guess what? Nothing changed, for better or worse. Everything sounds
the same. I should hear improvements, shouldn't I? After all, if a
cdp or TT isn't rock steady, it will vibrate and cause jitter/flutter/etc.,
right?
Or is all this vibration talk we hear constantly just that - talk?
