RE: Speaking of old, any music you've been listening to for more than 50 years?

The Pentangle from the late 60s. A great pure acoustic folk/jazz group. It was the 1st non-classical album reviewed in Stereophile and praised as an excellent recording. Gordon Holt got criticized when people bought the album but it was remastered by Warner Brothers in the US. The English Transatlantic version was superb except for some panning of the drums and upright bass.

It is still a go to recording for me both for the music, performance and recording. The bowing of the bass at the end of cut one gets the texture of a vibrating string magically. And the drum solo in cut 2 really will show off if your mid bass is really properly damped on the overhang.
