is this: What does the initial electrical current coming into a power conditioner or power regenerator have anything to do with what the unit outputs?
Does cleaner power coming in make the power being put out that much cleaner?

As far as the Furutech, is the mounting bracket necessary? The faceplate?
The bracket and faceplate makes the output incredibly cool looking but could I get away without those two additions, as they cost almost as much as the outlet, itself?
