Oh yeah.
There was recently someone asking about speaker cables on the Klipsch Owners facebook group (I don't own Klipsch, but I used to, and the Heritage line has horns so...) arguably not the best group to post about cables (more handbangers and movie fanatics than audiophiles there) but still,
...there was this guy who COPIED AND PASTED that SAME COMMENT ("For speakers cable, only gauge matters; for interconnects, it's capacitance and shielding properties) under EACH COMMENT from EACH AND EVERY PERSON that dared going into a slightly more nuanced discussion. That kind of behavior - trying to "teach the fools"- drives me nuts.
Same goes for the burn-in of electronics: NO, it's NOT your brains getting used to the sound! Believe anything you'd like in your simple, generic views of electronics, but DON'T START PREACHING AROUND! I wonder how many of us just got rid of an amplifier after a recap, or didn't give a chance to a new DAC, because they were told "burn-in is a myth"??
