a remarkably mature piece of songwriting for a... well... how old was Big T then? Not terribly. :)

It's also a beautifully constructed and arranged song.

Ever hear Petra Haden's completely vocal recreation of "Sell Out"? It's a pretty interesting piece, even though, being recorded on cassette, it doesn't exactly sound great. She's one of famed jazz bassist (the late) Charlie Haden's daughters (who have a new album out, apparently, but that's a little too off topic, even for me!).
