Thinking about buying a vinyl rig

I've been thinking lately about return to vinyl, at least in a limited way.

Then I got to thinking about everything I would need to do that:

turntable

cartridge(s) and replacement styli

cartridge alignment jigs

platter mat

phono preamp

stable platform on which to sit the TT

additional cables

record cleaning gear - brushes, static removers, fluids, cleaning machines, and suchlike paraphernalia

records @ $30 a pop (pardon the pun), assuming I can find any I'm interested in, or used records at who-knows-how-much and of unknown
quality

inner and outer sleeves for the record itself and its jacket

dealing with static electricity - I live in a dry climate

and finally, an ejecto-style recliner chair that facilitates the constant
getting up to change/flip over the record every 15 or 20 minutes

After considering all of this, I think I'm not going to buy a vinyl rig.
Way too fiddly for me. And, I don't like the clicks, pops, and tics that
go with vinyl. Perhaps I'll buy an SACD player instead.
