RE: Was it a matter of power, or the D amp simply sounding better ?

4 pi parnham speakers efficiency is 98 dB nominally. I have run them with a 14 watt EL84 amp in the past, but they craved more.
Compating the ATI with the Aleph, I think the former genuinely sounded better, with more and tighter bass and less veiling. Remember that this amp has near state of the art Hypex n-core modules with a beefy linear power supply.
This is an amp that has come in under the radar, with only one review I know of and that not in the "Big Two".
