It's definitely a crazy hobby

I even bought some Cardas solder as I have no idea what my current solder is. Just solder. And it will hold the wire as well as the Cardas. And it might measure differently than Cardas. And my ears won't be able to hear a difference. And let's face it, I would never solder with one, listen, remove, solder with the other one, then listen again.

But, it is a crazy hobby.

I thought about the torque screwdriver, as well. I'm 99.999999% sure I won't hear the difference between torque values (unless the screws are so off that the speaker basket is mounted crooked) but since I have to put some silicone around the housing I figured it might be helpful to have.

Besides, I had to remove the woofer on my Trente to tighten the nut for the tweeter housing. I screwed the woofer back on and something sounded a bit off since then. So I'll use the torque screwdriver on not just 8, but 16 screws bringing the cost per screw down.

BTW, just kidding about hearing a difference. I noticed nothing.

But again, it is a crazy hobby.
