Attached, are photos of my current set up.
I believe aesthetic design of the room, whether dedicated or integrated into the great room is important. I think it increases the listening pleasure.
I know what I like but don't have any design sense.Hopefully some of the other members can give me some good input on the design.
My theme is mainly southwestern as you can see by the artwork and colors since I do live in the southwest. One of my dilemmas is the copper artwork hanging above the wall.
A friend suggested I put it higher above the stand to make a statement, but I think now it looks lost.
Someone else I know suggested to lower the copper artwork to just above the stand since they're basically the same color and the artwork would be or look like an extension of the stand, and to remove the CD rack and black Target rack because too much clutter.
I have the CD rack and targets down there because that's the closes proximity to the audio equipment, but it can be moved.
So my question is if I do move the CD cabinet and the Target stand, what can I put in those places to give that area some aesthetic feel? Perhaps a couple of tall vertical houseplants?
Maybe some other artwork to flank the copper artwork to give the walll more depth?
I have another question regarding the logistics of my audio equipment on the stand but I'll save that for another thread.
Thanks for indulging me in a rather long thread. I'm sure there's many that have a better design sense than me!
Thanks.
