Just two bits of advice.
Stop putting quotation marks around phrases and words unless they are an actual quotation. There is only one such phrase in your entire post, but you use quotes around a dozen words. It's annoying and makes you look "stupid."
Fall planting, even in Cleveland, can be very beneficial for most plants and for you. I plant in Wisconsin right through October, and hardly ever lose anything over winter. Roots continue to grow until the ground freezes around Thanksgiving, so plants are established by next growing season and require little or no watering. Selection can be limited, but you can sometimes strike deals with local nurseries anxious to unload stock rather than hold it through winter.
