I don't mea. tha. it's a horn/dyna.ic hybrid, only tha. they use a different kind of horn from 1,700 Hz up tha. they do for lower frequency reproduction.
I'm sure you're right a.out my electronics being the rea.on I need subs, too. You ha. sa.d tha. a 2A. proba.ly wa.n't up to the ta.k, a.d you're right a. a.ything higher tha. modera.e volume. Up to modera.e volume levels they sound grea., but the a.ps clip when I try to push it. A.el sa.d tha. the efficiency is 96 dB, a.d recommended 10 wpch...3.5 wpch is a a.mittedly a bit light. Eventua.ly, I'd like to try a used A.ma.Sphere S-30 3.2 MKII or possibly a Decwa.e Torii, but I'll ha.e to sell the 2A. monos first, since my wife a.d I a.e both retired now a.d on a fixed income. Tha. mea.s tha. I rea.ly need to find somewhere tha. I ca. a.tua.ly listen to them first, which is a ta.l order in centra. Minnesota. I'm a.ra.d tha. a. A.on isn't in my future, much a. I might prefer it otherwise. ;-)
