a favorite snow site 2 hr drive from San Diego; another spot about a hour away is Murietta, Ca, and Hemet, both get snow in the Winter. Never been to either and have absolutely no desire to go to either one.For me, growing up in the MidWest (Ohio), I saw all the Season changes, snow, ice, slush and below zero weather I'll ever want to see; and when I got off the plane in San Diego after boot camp during the Winter of 1982 and felt the warm 80F Sun and breeze, I knew I was where I want to be for a loooong time...
I'll take 76F and Sunny daily forever lol..
