Being a musician in Rich's band wasn't always so easy either.Couple times I saw them live the (mostly) VERY young players that
looked fresh out of Berklee (or such and uncomfortable looking in their ill fitting band clothes)
all got VERY nervous as himself sitting at his kit on the riser (looking majestic and devilish)
would start tapping out time and those boys would fast flip through the huge music book
to find the right tune to come in on IN TIME or face a backlash after the gig.Tough work but it beats blowing up.
