I worry more about course time, etc. if I want to gauge my performance. Stop watch is all I need.My interest is more granular since I enjoy the art of cornering. :)
I just don't find the dual-clutch auto nearly as engaging a driving experience.
To each his own. I prefer to devote my attention navigating a corner's entry and exit with the steering wheel than off focus moving a stick about.
OTOH there is plenty of music on vinyl that will never make it to digital.
Really? What artists or symphonies are making recordings that are solely analog from master to delivered media?
As to hi-rez representing the original master that would be up for debate.
Not when that is the master. I return to my previous question. Which artists (or labels) still make recordings that are mastered using an analog source?
There are plenty of hi-rez files that are nothing more than up-samped CD.
And hence they are not hi-rez.
The only hi-rez files that I have heard that truly knock my socks off that make me think vinyl is a waste of time are from David Chesky.
I guess it depends upon the source.
Perhaps I need to surrender my audiophile card as I spend more time listening to the garage system (which in toto costs less than the two Harmonic Tech power cords in the main system) than the big stats in good weather. I continue to marvel in the wonder of selectng anything from my digital library instantly and in any order I choose from my phone or pad.
Back to enjoying music outdoors on this beautiful evening...
