Insulation in today. 15A and 20A dedicated lines run. The door/wall in the right foreground gets pushed out to match the rest of the wall and opened up with French doors. Bathroom at the far end. When we opened the wall on the right we came across the original external clapboard of the 1865 house. Multiple additions met here, requiring forensic work to figure out what went where (and when) to determine what was load bearing and what wasn't. (One 4 x 4 running from the foundation to the 2nd-floor roof had been chain-sawed off at the floor and ceiling level - yikes!)
Dimensions are about 11 x 24, with the ceiling 7-9 feet. Floor joists will get additional stiffening/support, with 3/4" ply, 1/8" neoprene, and 3/4" oak on top. "House Camp" will be done soon. Well... one day sooner than yesterday. Some time this fall. 96 LP boxes, packed up for over a year, *will* get unpacked. Thinking happy (patient... patient) thoughts.
