I'm finally building a room for the hifi, tv, etc., and want to know what I can put under the flooring to reduce booming. The current floor is laminate on plywood on joists, and I want to put oak flooring in. Anywhere in this house the floor generates a fair amount of boom around 80-100 Hz and I'd love to be able to tame that somewhat. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
WW
