Sorry you've had issues. I'm an Amazon Prime customer and I've had USPS deliveries on Saturday and SUNDAY. Multiple occasions on SUNDAY. Very fast delivery times from the shipment.
I don't know a single employee in the USPS and I'm not generally a big fan of the quality of government agencies but I have to tell you that they are one of the top government agencies from my experience. Our local P.O. personnel are very good as well when I've needed to go there.
Maybe it has something to do with your location -- I'm on the left coast.
I've read they are trying to be more competitive, maybe it started out here.
