I used to sell AN Japan gear and sold many Ongakus (I owned 2 myself) and we sold them at around the $25-28K mark depending on the Yen at time of sale. Yes they did retail at 89K but the mark-up on these ANJ products were unbelievable and we were just looking to make a normal profit. The point is that the market can decide the value of some products and Kondo gear had the market on these items and people were/are willing to pay these prices..
