Back of the control room, while Steve Addabbo runs the session. Today was tracking for a very good singer/actress in a TV series. The mic on the boom is a Neumann M149; we also used a U47. The console is a carefully maintained MCI 636 (late 1970's) with the API bus and Neve Flying Faders. The lava lamp, which *does* help, is my contribution. After the tracking session, we hosted a NARIP workshop for songwriters to get their work heard and critiqued by a creative guy at one of the big ad agencies. (At least one song looks like it will be picked up.)
It's all good.
