In my case I think it has. I was a big rock fan, mostly in the bluesy Stones-like genre for years. 11 years or so ago I purchased a pair of ProAc Studio 125's and immediately fell in love with their sound. Fast forward to today and I have upgraded to ProAc D15's and find my musical tastes have shifted dramatically toward female vocalists, acoustic instruments, stand up bass, and the like. Now Americana, Folk and Country blues rule - all of which I think play to the ProAc's strengths. Maybe it was just getting older but I think a different choice of speaker line might have taken me down a different musical path. Unless you are a serial speaker/speaker manufacturer changer - has your choice of speaker changed your musical interests?
