I lived in the area 1968 to 1980. I remember the name 'Hoffman's House of Stereo' and I think I visited, but I bought my early gear (AR-4x and AR-2ax speakers and a Dual 1019 turntable) from Audio Craft downtown on Pioneer st.
I also remember an audio place called Shapiro's out on the east side. Also, Heathkit had a store in Brookpark, or Parma that I bought a color TV kit from.
