Along those same lines, I just asked them to refund my Agon account (credit) balance back to my PayPal account -- because they suddenly made up a new rule that we couldn't use our account balance to fund listing fees anymore -- now only for them to take their transaction fees out of (did you know that?)

I don't know about you, but I consider such maneuvering to be fraud -- my PayPal transaction details even say "for listing fees". And since they said they couldn't (wouldn't) refund my account balance to PP, I have opened a PayPal claim, which I'm sure PP will decide in my favor.

If the folks at AudiogoN feel they should be making more money, then they should charge more for their services; and let the market decide if those services are worth more money. That's freemarket capitalism. But noooo! Instead, they are trying to take the additional money they want off the back end of every transaction; which has forced them to police every transaction, and made them paranoid that everyone is trying to cheat them.

I'd pay an extra buck or two per ad, but maybe they're afraid most people wouldn't; or don't think they're worth it. So they decided not to test the market (God forbid!) and to try getting the money another way. The result is now their revenue is going down instead of up, and in the end, they're going to lose their business altogether.
