This is sad news indeed.I knew Bill from the early 70s. Worked for him part of that time.
A fine man, with an unrelenting vision to improve audio as he saw and heard it.
He also did a number of extraordinary things behind the scenes (not related to audio), at least one of which I've posted here previously.
Bill forever changed the landscape that we know as high-end audio.
