frihed89...if you are coming to the states in search of a great SET amp/amps and truely want something special you might want to take some extra time and audition what might be the best SET amp available that very few people have heard ...that being the chaliceaudio.com ..'grail' monoblocks..the reviewers that have heard them, prior to recent upgrades, thought the same..that they may be the best of the best....you obvious have a great system already and are probably looking for what may be your last great amp...these amps ARE that good..they are able to drive almost any real world speaker with what is the most glorious sound imaginable. give pres or tom , at chalice audio, an email and talk with them before coming over to the states. give keith taruski an email and see why he thinks they are the 'best amps in the world'...if you really are after a SOTA tube amp/amps you need to hear them..they are expensive ......but if your budget allows....are seriously worth it.....just a thought
