In their heyday they were way more popular in Europe than in the US.
They had no problem selling out 10,000 -12,000 seaters in the early '90's.
Saw them in Dublin a couple of times and in NY on the comeback tour but love them as much as I do I'm not paying $75-$100 to see the same show again.
I was also really lucky to get a complete run of the original 12" from the 4ad warehouse back in '95 which as yet remain unplayed.
