Fortunately, there are still two quality, mostly 2-channel, mid to high end audio shops left in Buffalo, down from maybe ten back in the late '70s when I first got into the hobby. One seems to be limping along in critial condition and likely to close when the current owner calls it quits. The other is still fairly robust with a very casual, friendly sales force that have always made me welcome regardless of whether I was looking for a $50 interconnect or a $6000 amp.
