In the past 11 months, I've shipped thousands of books overseas, via USPS International Priority mail. Never had any problems with delivery. IIRC, only lost one book, to an address in mainland China. There is no tracking available internationally with USPS International Shipping. Tracking is included in the USPS Priority Mail domestic service, however.
Shipped three times as many to the US, also no problems with Priority Mail or with PayPal.
After hearing all of the concerns posted on AA, using PayPal was definitely a cause for concern. But to date, almost a year - and many sales - later, my concerns appear to have been unfounded.
All of my transactions are either through a purchaser's PayPal account or through a credit card cleared by PayPal's merchant service division. Never had a problem getting paid, either overseas, or in the US.
Not saying that makes it safe for others, but it is a more positive experience than some have posted.
Best regards,
Jim Smith
