RE: Cayin Electronics ??????

I discovered the CAYIN products a little over a year ago at Acoustic Sounds. Based on a tip from several employees there that owned the CDT-17A SACD player w/ tube analog out, I followed suit.
I was not disappointed as I rediscovered my entire CD catalogue and also began purchasing SACDs. Previously I had felt that my top of the line DENON had pretty good sound but the CAYIN destroyed it in every catagory I could think of. I finally understood what the adds for expensive players meant by 'pace'. The entire musical presentation seemed more relaxed which made the digital music much more relaxing.
CAYIN is a German engineering company building in China that takes full advantage of cheaper raw materials and labour plus Chinese tax laws to build and sell very fine electronic components at very low prices.
The CDT-17A's performance is superb and rivals units costing many times it's price. I was so impressed with it I also bought the SC 5LS pre-amp and the HA-1A headphone amplifier. Both are a great build, weighty products with a sound just on the warm side of neutral.
My friend experienced the CAYIN line of integrated amps at the CES and said they all sounded great and the pricing was phenomenal with regards to performance for the money.
Actually, I like this gear and it's inherant value so much that I have begun distributing CAYIN products in Canada.
