I find this an odd question as it seems you are enlisting the forum's help in making a decision you should be making yourself.
Personally, I have my favorite albums on CD and vinyl and usually only play vinyl on special occasions, that being at a time when I know the house to be quiet and I'm into making the musical experience an event. I play both sides straight thru without skipping cuts or volume adjustment
just as I did in the 70s.
For everyday enjoyment, I toss in a disc which granted is much more convenient and infinitely repeatabe. The XRCDs, at least the ones I have heard are very, very good so deciding on one medium is a tough one.
If I HAD to go with just one I might lean toward high resolution digital but thank goodness I don't.
