RE: What is "Audio Nirvana"? Can you ever achieve it?

The state of 'nirvana' is entirely within your consciousness and is evidently hard to impossible to achieve. Audio nirvana if it exists seems to only last until the song is over and the next begins.

I'm sure we have all experienced being totally captivated by some new piece of music one day and then being totally turned off by it the next. On both occasions the particular piece of music was being reproduced on the same system in the same environment. What had changed?

Like most experiences, set and setting play a major role. Can audio nirvana be achieved?
Perhaps, but only for a few fleeting moments.
