Good morning- I want to buy a pair of inexpensive speaker stands that will hold the weight (about 50 pounds or so) of my original Advent One speakers. Right now they are on the floor and i want to bring the tweeters up to ear level. I have seen the stands at Parts Express and alot of them look stable. Does anyone have experience with their stands? I'm also concerned about the resonation. I read that wood is not a good material Also, i have wood floors and can't use spiked feet. The old lady will blow a fuse. I'm even open to DIY stands. Thanks.

- It's been known to leave marks, depends on the finish and how it's used. (nt) - clio09 13:18:38 03/17/09 (0)
