Well, all the harmonic distortion and intermodulation distortion and tracking error and wow and flutter and inner groove distortion and surface noise and tics & pops from the vinyl ... probably made it impossible for the women to talk while listening to vinyl?
The ultra-low distortion CD's were much less annoying to female ears!"
Uh yeah, I think you have that backwards.
Canned music is easy to ignore where live music is not so. :-)
