I don't even want to hazard a guess, but I do have sick feeling in regard to speculating about this situation, if the tone is entertainment or morbid curiosity.
If that wasn't your intention, I apologize for raising it as an issue. Aside from the human costs when people lose their livelihood, there is the fact that our hobby has been dying a slow death for years. I don't want to name individual companies, but I've been treated extremely well by a few of the highly regarded designers of speakers and tube electronics written about in these forums. I consider them friends, for the enjoyment they have brought to my life.
We're seeing tough times in Michigan, and people are truly struggling. Let's hope for the best for all involved. If I'm out of line here, I'm sorry about poking my nose in.
