Recently a ZETA miniDVD system, a multi-region all-code Kenuo DVD player, and some tube gear from Joseph Lau's Houston mini pre and integrated amp, much older is Consonance 2A3 amp.
But open the cover, the parts and components esp. the IC, VLSI, tantalum resistors are foreign made. Chinese content are usually the chassis, circuit board, transformer.
Of course the Chinese do produce beef up model which extensively use brand name import components but then the price could be double that of the basic version.
PS The ZETA is described as German designed but mine has a faulty power switch which took me HK$5 to replace, and it cannot play ALL DVD format but then the price is reasonably cheap and it consumes less than 50watts of electricity current.
